UBC: The Cure for a Mid-Life Crisis

06- 8-2012

Forget skydiving, climbing Mt. Everest and the convertible red Corvette. Everyone knows that a trip to Unclaimed Baggage is the perfect cure for any mid-life crisis.

Remember the classic 80’s movie City Slickers? Prior to joining his other middle-aged friends and heading out west to take part in a cattle drive Mitch Robbins, played by Billy Crystal, speaks to the classmates of one of his children about what to expect, as they grow older. Part of his “words of wisdom” were

"Your forties, you grow a little pot belly you grow another chin. The music starts to get too loud and one of your old girlfriends from high school becomes a grandmother. Your fifties you have a minor surgery. You'll call it a procedure, but it's a surgery."

Every year we have people from all 50 states and more than 40 counties walk through our doors. Now granted, everyone’s not looking to alleviate his or her mid-life crisis or slump. But, most people are looking for adventure and a break from the mundane.

With over 7000 new products put on the shelves each day it’s like shopping a totally different store everyday.

And don’t worry, even if you aren’t having a mid-life crisis you’ll get a break from life and experience a true shopping adventure.
