Road trippers from around the country have been enjoying the UBC Road Trip for a few weeks now. We have had people from Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, Alaska, Michigan, New York and even Australia make their way to Scottsboro, AL as part of their summer road trip. And everyone who comes through the doors has the opportunity to put their name in to win one of the amazing weekly prizes (check them out here).

But a couple of weeks there was a large group of “ultimate road trippers”.

30 cyclers from the group Bike and Build made a morning stop here at UBC. Each year groups of cyclers make their way across various parts of America, stopping in partner cities to assist in building affordable housing. These extreme bike riders pledge to raise money and complete the route.

The group that stopped into UBC to do some adventure shopping is travelling from South Carolina to Santa Cruzand helping families in need along the way.  One of the girls from the group even bought a snazzy lime green sequined skirt for their Bike & Build Prom!
