What is Ski Sale?
Every year, we hold our best assortment of winter and ski coats, snow skis, snowboards, ski gear, accessories, and so much more, and roll it all out at once with an all-day experience so exciting that thousands travel from across the country just to join in.
Beyond the ski, discover loads of great finds across the store, including jewelry, luxury, electronics, sporting goods, and more.
We have so much product rolling out that we're setting up tents to extend the treasure hunt into the parking lot.

An Epic Giveaway
To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Ski Sale, we're giving away a 2026-27 Epic Pass ā the season pass that unlocks more than 90 destinations worldwide, with unlimited, blackout-free access at 42 Vail Resorts mountains including Vail, Breckenridge, Park City and Whistler Blackcomb. Every guest who walks through the doors on November 7 will have the chance to enter to win, turning a single day in Scottsboro, Alabama, into a full winter of skiing and riding.
The Campout Tradition
What started as a gathering of guests wanting to be the first in line on Saturday morning has now grown into an annual tradition for many.
Dozens of guests camp out the night before in the Unclaimed Baggage parking lot. We provide free pizza, fire pits, s'mores, games, movies, and more, and campers get to claim their spot in line for the main event.
The first 45 people in line will get a 45-minute head start to shop the store before the doors open, PLUS a $45 Unclaimed Baggage gift card and free Ski Sale t-shirt!
Don't have a tent?
We got you! We'll have tents available to reserve; just show up with a toothbrush. Stay tuned for more details.
Food & Fun
We'll have food trucks in the lot and sandwiches, coffee, and snacks inside at Cups Cafe.
Throughout the day, enjoy cornhole, games, and giveaways.
