Alexandra Davis has been a lifelong lover of children’s books, earning her degree in Children’s Literature from NYU with additional studies in illustration and design at the School of Visual Arts. She interned at Puffin Books before joining the marketing team at New York’s iconic bookstore Books of Wonder, where she wrote the beloved quarterly catalogue. As a writer, teacher, and homeschooling mom, Alexandra delights in sharing her passion for the magic of stories with young readers everywhere. She is also the author of Lumber Jills: The Unsung Heroes of World War II, published by Albert Whitman.

About the Illustrator
Oliver Allison is a New York City–based illustrator and educator whose imaginative work is gaining wide recognition. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts’ MFA program in Illustration as Visual Essay, he is now an adjunct instructor in SVA’s BFA Illustration department. His work has been honored by the Society of Illustrators, Creative Quarterly, and the Booooooom Illustration Awards, and was featured on 2,000+ LinkNYC kiosks through the #ArtOnLink program. He illustrated the cover of The Red Door for Bandersnatch Books and regularly collaborates with periodicals and publishers. Tuesday’s Bear marks his debut children’s picture book.

We offer free shipping on orders over $99. For orders under $99, shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Orders are processed in 1-2 business days and shipped via UPS or USPS. All shipping times are estimates, and deliveries typically take 3-8 business days after processing, with expedited shipping options available.

We also offer free local pickups at our retail store located at 509 West Willow Street, Scottsboro, Alabama 35768. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup (typically within 24 hours). To pick up your order, please proceed to Guest Services during normal store operating hours and present your order number along with a photo ID. If the order is not picked up after 10 days, it will be restocked and refunded.

Online Returns:

We gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery for all domestic orders except for products marked as final sale.

Refund Options & Fees:

There are no additional fees for any returns for store credit.

All outbound and return shipping charges are non-refundable.

Original Form of Payment:

For a refund to the original form of payment, a $1.99 per item restocking fee will be deducted from the refund total once the return is processed.

Please note that returned merchandise must be in the same condition it was received:

  • Unworn and undamaged
  • In its original packaging (if included)
  • With all tags still intact (including security tags on jewelry as well as all original tags for New with Tags items)
